We, at Amaglen, have spent 40 years dedicated to the breed improvement of the Limousin breed. We have retained most of our females, offering very few for sale over the years. We love our cows and have spent hours on genetic selection. We have built our herd within, selecting the best AI and walking sires that we can find. We’ve had high expectations of our cattle, knew what we were striving for, worked hard and haven’t settled for anything less. Our cows have been our life! But all good things have to come to and end, and the doc says it’s time to slow down. We’ve played our cards close to the chest over the years, but it’s time to lay down our hand and offer you some of the best females in the industry, a once in a lifetime opportunity. Limousin Bulls For Sale
At Amaglen Limousin, we pride ourselves in supplying bulls that can enhance any purebred or commercial herd in the industry.
The bulls we sell are the result of matings from the best females in our herd and the best sires available to us, through both A.I. and our herd bulls. They are selected for the traits that are the most important to us and our customers. We select for calving ease and gainability, while maintaining a polled head and thickness.
Our bull calves are not on creep feed on the pasture. After they are weaned, they are hand fed every day. All bulls will have a Breeding Soundness evaluation and only those that pass will be sold. The bulls we have on offer have been carefully selected to meet the needs of the industry - any bull we sell we would use in our own herd.
